Job description
We are looking for the Drupal Developer responsible for designing and implementing new features and functionality, establishing and guiding the website’s architecture, ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the Content Management System. You will be working closely with front-end developers and customers to ensure an effective, visually appealing, and intuitive implementation.
Key responsibilites
- Drupal Development: Design, develop, and maintain custom Drupal modules and themes.
- PHP Development: Utilize your strong PHP background to enhance and extend Drupal’s core functionalities.
- Website Maintenance: Monitor and maintain the performance, security, and integrity of Drupal sites.
- API Integration: Develop and integrate RESTful APIs with Drupal to interact with third-party services.
- Collaborate: Work closely with front-end developers, UX/UI designers, and other team members to ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end elements.
- Testing & Debugging: Conduct regular testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance of Drupal sites.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all projects, including code comments, best practices, and project-specific guidelines.
- Support: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Drupal-based applications, including bug fixes, updates, and optimizations.
- Version Control: Use Git for version control and manage development workflows.
Prerequisites
- PHP Development: Minimum 5 years of experience in PHP development.
- Drupal Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in Drupal development (Drupal 8/9/10).
- Strong understanding of Drupal’s architecture, including custom modules, themes, and core APIs.
- Proficiency in PHP, including OOP (Object-Oriented Programming) principles.
- Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Familiarity with databases, especially MySQL, and experience in writing complex SQL queries.
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Knowledge of Drupal best practices, including security, performance, and accessibility standards.
- Experience with Drush and Composer.
- Familiarity with RESTful API development and integration.
- Basic understanding of Linux server environments and command-line interfaces.
